The International Academy for Production Engineering is a professional body for research into production engineering. It was formed as the International Institution for Production Engineering Research (CIRP) in 1951.[1][2]

CIRP uses different platforms for scientific exchange. One of this is "CIRP Global Web Conference on Production Engineering Research" born in 2011. [3] The CSI of Naple Univeristy in person of Ing Fabrizio Pietrafesa has provided technical support for the realization of multimedial contents in year 2014.
